3M Adhesion Promoter 06396 is a convenient liquid primer for enhancing the adhesion of Acrylic Foam Tapes in automotive applications. This adhesion promoter works with most LSE plastics used for interior and exterior automotive trim and parts. Helps ensure robust attachment of trim and injection-moulded body side mouldings. Notched packets open quickly and evenly for efficient use. Dries in as little as 30 seconds. One packet covers up to 960 sq. cm. For use on LSE plastics with Acrylic Foam Tapes. Enhanced Adhesion in Convenient Packets Formulated specifically for use with Acrylic Foam Tapes, 3M Adhesion Promoter 06396 promotes a permanent bond with most low surface energy plastic materials commonly used in automotive instrument panel, interior trim and exterior trim parts. It works well with LSE plastics, as well as TPO, PPO, PP, PC, PC and ABS. The liquid primer dries in 30 to 90 seconds for fast and efficient application. Once dry, it is ready to accept the attachment tape. The adhesion promoter is incorporated into an easy-to-use sponge inside a notched packet. Technicians simply tear open the top of the packet at the notches to expose the sponge and, using the bottom of the packet as an applicator, apply the fluid to the auto trim or part.
